Stuff I've been Up to

Okay, so I know it seems like nothing has been happening around here lately, but that's not true! The truth is I haven't had my laptop and it has all my pictures on it! For some reason I don't feel like I can blog without pictures! It's just not as interesting! And now, I have pictures on my camera, but I can't get the pictures onto my desktop because it doesn't have a card reader and my little usb drive converter thingy (like the woradge?) isn't working. So here's what I have that I would love to tell you all about when I get my comp and think to do it! 1. Christmas - DUH as if I haven't blogged that yet! 2. My mom's birthday - did a whole thing for her, and the cake was SUPER cute! 3. Michael and I went to Edmonton - it was about time to have a getaway, and since our 10th anniversary is right around the corner, we figured we should! 4. I LOVE to sing! This has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Music can make me laugh, cry, dance, sing or smile. A good song touches my soul and reminds me of who I am and what I want in my life. When I sing I feel peace and happiness, security and love. It makes me feel like I belong. Like I'm meant to be here. I love that my husband has put surround sound in our kitchen so that we can blast music and dance around the kitchen. This is our favourite family activity. All through jr high and high school I sang in a fantastic girls choir. Our director was incredibly knowledgeable and she brought us to some amazing levels in our singing. When I was twelve, we went on tour across Canada, when I was sixteen, we traveled Europe. The lessons that I learned in those years were about more than music. I learned about culture, responsibility, friendship, being an ambassador. Much of who I am today is because of what I learned during that time. When I graduated, I had to lea
