Three Months
Wow, I can't believe that is has been three months already! It doesn't seem that long ago that I was just wishing you would come out, or when I was finally holding you in my arms, so grateful that you were here. Wow, I'm getting teary just thinking about the time that has gone by already.
It's been an eventful few months, we have moved to Cranbrook, had you in emergency once, celebrated two siblings birthdays, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Canada Day and we are getting ready to take you to your first family reunion where you will be passed around and cooed over to your heart's content!
Here are some stats about you at three months old:
1. You smile all the time, especially for Mommy, Daddy and David
2. You sit up pretty good in an exersaucer
3.You are a belly sleeper, and absolutely REFUSE to sleep any other way (no judging ladies!)
4. You already own three pairs of shoes and one pair of boots (crocheted by a friend and so cute!) that fit you, not to mention the several pairs that don't!
5. You are just starting to outgrow your newborn clothes, but most three month stuff is still too big!
6. You weigh 14 pounds, although it doesn't seem like you weigh that much when I hold you.
7. You are still quite skinny, just like all Yanoses - clearly Mommy was married into the family, not a true Yanos!
8. I have told Grandma that you are my "orange baby". Whenever I'm buying clothes or paint for you, I am drawn to orange and brown
9. You HATE your carseat. I've never had this issue with any of my other kids, but as soon as I put you into your carseat, you start to scream, and the moving of the vehicle doesn't soothe you. Funny that we've still done so much driving with you!
10. You can't sleep without a soother, but generally when you're not tired, you're not too interested in it
11. You pretty much eat every three hours still, although you do have some stretches of five hours, but they are generally during the day, not at night
12. You are an excellent nurser, you eat quickly and get mad when I change sides - like really mad, screaming mad. But when you are finished, I pop a soother in your mouth and you go right back to sleep with out a complaint
So there you have it, 12 things for 12 weeks. We love you so much and I already can't imagine my life without you. Your personality is starting to show and I love it! I'm loving every minute of your life, you are so special to me.
Love, Mommy
