David Craig
Oh, David, my little monster. David is three years old, going on fifteen. He is super adorable and a little cheeky! He has added a lot of spice to our lives. He loves to learn about everything and asks "why" ALL the time! But he is actually trying to learn, and he remembers the answers that he's given - not that it stops him from asking again.
Of all of our kids David is the one that constantly leaves us asking "He said what?!?" Because he comes up with the craziest things. Today at the dinner table he said that he wanted more water, when I told him to go ahead and get some, he looked at me with very sad and tired eyes and said "but I don't want to get off my butt..." It was so adorable that I just had to smile and get him some water (After he asked nicely!)
David has absolutely loved being a big brother, which I was a little worried about because, let's face it, he's spoiled. With three older siblings, the youngest eight years his senior, it's bound to happen. That and Michael and I are just more tired with him! With Peter and Natasha we didn't have a problem getting up to discipline them, with David it's a completely different meaning when we say, "You better not make me get up..."
Like I was saying...David loves being a big brother, almost too much! He wants to help with everything and he loves to read to Zachary and make him laugh. We regularly have to remind him to be gentle because he is just so excited to have a little brother to play with. Zachary loves it when David will sit and talk to him and read to him and play with him, it's super cute to see his face light up when David comes into his view. David certainly loves that little boy.
Three things that I love about David:
1. Your smile is just so big and adorable that it lights up the whole room and makes everyone around you smile.
2. The way you say "Momma"
3. Your unconditional love, whether I'm having a "good mom" day or a "not-so-good mom" day, you are happy to see me and love to make me smile
You are such a light in my life and I love the you that you are right now. You say the cutest things in the cutest ways and it just makes my heart smile when you talk. I pray for you that you will always be so positive and happy and enjoy your life. May you always be a light to the world.
Love,
Momma
